UK Algorithmic Transparency Records

Government is already using AI. This is where.

Every algorithmic transparency record published by a UK public body, in one place — what each system does, which department owns it, which companies are paid to build it, and what changed since last time.

83 of 154 suppliers are confirmed against the Companies House register. The rest are shown as filed and left unverified: no usable number was given, the number did not match a company of that name, or the entry is not a company.

Where this comes from

Every record is pulled from the GOV.UK Algorithmic Transparency Recording Standard. Nothing here is editorial: the descriptions, suppliers and phases are as the publishing body wrote them, with a link back to the original record on every page.

Departments file these voluntarily, so absence is not evidence that a body uses no AI — only that it has published no record. Supplier details are free text in the source, so each supplier is checked against the Companies House register. Confirmed matches are marked verified; anything else is shown as filed and never presented as confirmed.
